Washington Gulch
The rain on our first day in Crested Butte had turned Gothic Road into one giant muddy pothole. We had planned on hitting Rustler's Gulch early, but decided to go the next hike on our list; Washington Gulch Trail.
The trail itself is an out and back that is ~4 miles long. The first 2 miles are the best for wildflowers as it takes you through huge fields of Alpine Sunflowers and Cow Parsnip.
